Hunting Packages

Teslin Outfitters Ltd. will be offering the following hunt packages:

Spring Hunt

The Spring Grizzly/Black Bear Hunt is a 10 day hunt that will be done either on a river by boat or on land throughout the month of May. Renowned for their strength, speed and unpredictability Grizzly and Black Bears are prize animals for any hunter. Hunters should expect all weather conditions. No other species of animal will be hunted.

Fall Hunts

In the fall we are offering three primary species hunting packages to allow you the flexibility to take the animals you want. You can hunt, subject to quotas, one or more of grizzly, sheep, caribou, moose, black bear, wolf or wolverine.

1. The Sheep Hunts are 14 day hunts, scheduled for the first two weeks of August. Only 4 will be offered as the primary animal. You will fly into our base camp and then travel overland by horseback to a spike camp in prime sheep country.

2. The Moose or Caribou Hunt is a 10 day hunt. It is carried out by horseback, with the added option to hunt Moose by boat. This hunt is scheduled between mid August to the end of September. Teslin Outfitters Ltd. is very proud of the quality of moose and caribou in our hunting area. Our caribou are part of two herds which range in our outfitting area. Both herds are renowned for antler size and points.

Winter Hunt

Teslin Outfitters Ltd. offers only one winter hunt package—a Wolf, Wolverine and Ptarmigan Hunt. Winter is the best time for hunting wolves and this package offers the experienced hunter a new and exciting challenge. All winter hunts are done by snow machine and hunters must be equipped with quality winter gear. Come enjoy the Yukon Quest and do some hunting at the same time!
