Teslin Outfitters Ltd. holds the exclusive license to operate in outfitting area #20, the largest game- guiding area in the Yukon . It is located in south-central Yukon , northeast of Whitehorse and Teslin covering approximately 36,000 square kilometers or 21,600 square miles of hunting paradise. Large areas of the outfit are remote, accessible only by plane or horseback, and a northern part of the area has never been commercially hunted. The terrain, which ranges from mountains, high plateaus, grassy slopes and forested valleys provides natural habitat for all species of big game. Numerous lakes and streams offer great fishing for the sportsman. All of our hunts are one on one guiding and are fair chase hunts. We operate with experienced guides that will do their best to make your trip a success and memorable experience.

The primary game in the area are Stone Sheep, Grizzly Bear, Caribou, Alaska/Yukon Moose, Wolves and Wolverine. Game birds consist of Ptarmigan and grouse. Lakes and streams offer abundant Arctic Grayling and Lake Trout.

TRANSPORTATION

There are two airlines that fly to Whitehorse , Yukon . Air North (www.flyairnorth.com) connects in Edmonton , Alta, Calgary , Alta and Vancouver , B.C.and Air Canada (www.aircanada.ca) which connects in Vancouver . Upon arrival in Whitehorse our expediter will meet you at the airport and make sure that you get to your hotel and on the way to base camp. You will be transported to the hunting area the day before your hunt begins, therefore you should ensure that you arrive in Whitehorse , prior to the day of transportation. Teslin Outfitters Ltd. states that we are not liable for any changing of schedule due to weather or late planes etc. .

You may wish to bring a pair of sneaker or light boot for wearing around camp. All your gear should not weigh more than 70 pounds and should be packed in TWO SOFT SIDED DUFFEL BAGS. Hard cases for rifles that are required by commercial airlines will not be transported to hunting camp they can be stored at your hotel or with our expediter. It is recommended to bring a soft rifle case.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS

The hunter recognizes he/she is taking part in a wilderness activity and that there are inherent risks. While maintaining reasonable care and safety of each hunter or non-hunter, Teslin Outfitters Ltd. and any of its staff accept no responsibility for any illness, accident or loss whatsoever, or any expense arising there from. Any charter flights or unscheduled flights requested by the hunter will be at the hunters expense.

DEPOSITS

A deposit of 50% is required to secure the hunt dates and the balance of the hunt is to be paid prior to June 1 st of the scheduled hunt year. Final payment, charter costs and license fees are due prior to June 1 st of the hunting year. The final payment must be cash, traveler’s check or certified bank draft. Upon payment of the deposit the hunter will be provided with a contract for signing.
